She defeated another Argentine tennis player, Maria Lourdes Carle, in two sets with the same score, 6-3, 6-3.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the first round of the main draw, Maria Timofeeva will play against Polish tennis player Magdalena French, who is currently ranked 57th in the world.
