Uzbek tennis players performed brilliantly at the ITF J60 Almaty tournament

At the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors J60 Almaty international junior tournament, which is being held in Kazakhstan from October 27 to November 2, 2025, representatives of Uzbekistan demonstrated a high level of preparation and confident play, taking the leading positions in the doubles categories.

Danila Kvasov and Akhmadjon Toshmukhamedov won the doubles title, defeating their compatriots Nikita Gafurov and Alan Zinatulin in the final with a score of 3–6, 7–6, [10–4].

On their way to the title, Kvasov and Toshmukhamedov defeated the Kazakh duo of Rodion Lukashov and Dias Tulepbergenov 6–3, 6–3, demonstrating consistency and teamwork throughout the tournament.

Akmul Abdullaev and his Russian partner Vadim Lyashenko also showed excellent results, reaching the semifinals, where they lost to the Uzbek pair Gafurov and Zinatulin with a score of 6-4, 1-6, [10-7].

The performance of the Uzbek athletes was yet another confirmation of the successful work of the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation in developing junior tennis and training promising players capable of competing confidently on international courts.
