The ATF Performance Tennis seminar for coaches working with children under 10 has started in Tashkent

Today, a three-day ATF Performance Tennis seminar began in Tashkent, organized by the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation in conjunction with the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) as part of the Young Tennis Stars (YTS) program, with the support of the Republican Tennis School of the Olympic Reserve. The training is taking place from November 28 to 30, 2025, at the “Umid” Sports Complex (RTSSO).

More than 30 specialists from different regions of the country are participating in the seminar: Namangan, Syrdarya, Tashkent, Bukhara regions, and the city of Tashkent.

The program is based on the international Evolution methodology and ITF principles, with a focus on training young tennis players aged 7-10: red, orange, and green levels. Participants will attend theoretical modules, practical classes, and a detailed analysis of modern approaches to training young players.

Mike Barrell, one of the world’s leading experts in children’s tennis and founder of the Evolve9 program, was a special guest at the seminar.

Upon completion of the training, all participants will receive certificates from the ATF and the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation. Participation in the seminar is free of charge as part of the development of coaching training in the country.
