Two victories for Uzbekistan at the tournament in Dubai

Uzbek tennis players Kamron Khalilov and Abdulaziz Akhatov won the Rackets Academy Dubai Junior Open 1 (JWTS) international tournament, which took place on February 6–10 in Dubai.

In the U10 category, Kamron Khalilov played confidently throughout the tournament and defeated UAE representative Jada Wajjan in the final with a score of 6-2, 6-3, winning the title.

Abdulaziz Akhatov also became the champion in the competition among players under 14 years old. In the decisive match, he defeated Maxim Waller from Great Britain 6-4, 6-3.

The successful performance of Uzbek tennis players on the international stage confirms the high level of training of young athletes and the systematic work to develop children’s tennis in the country.
