Kamila Rakhimova has advanced to the third round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Toronto!

Uzbekistan’s Kamila Rakhimova has advanced to the third round of the National Bank Open Presented by Rogers (WTA 1000), which is being held in Toronto, Canada.

In the second round, Rakhimova defeated veteran Czech tennis player Katerina Siniakova 6-7(1), 6-0, 5-2. With the score at 5-2 in the deciding set, Siniakova was unable to continue the match, and the victory was awarded to Kamilla.

Sinyakova is one of the most experienced players on the tour. She is a former world No. 1 in doubles and a multiple Grand Slam doubles champion. She is currently ranked 36th in the WTA singles rankings.

In the third round, Kamilla Rakhimova will face J. Pegula.
