A Successful Few Weeks for Uzbek Juniors in Fergana!

From July 27 to August 1, Fergana hosted the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors tournament in the J60 Fergana category.

In singles, our players claimed titles in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions.

Akmal Abdullaev became the boys’ singles champion. In the final, he defeated his compatriot Danila Kvasov 3–6, 7–5, 6–2.

Nigina Alimova won the girls’ title, defeating Daria Podsypyanina in the final 4–6, 6–3, 6–2.

In the J60 doubles category, a representative from Uzbekistan also distinguished himself 🇺🇿 Abdurakhmon Karimov, who, together with 🇹🇯 Somon Amonov,
won the boys’ tournament.

Following that, from August 3 to 8, Fergana hosted a higher-level tournament the J100 Fergana.

In the boys’ doubles, 🇺🇿 Mahmudbek Beknazarov and Danila Kvasov claimed the championship title.

In the girls’ doubles, 🇺🇿 Nigina Alimova and 🇷🇺 Vasilisa Marchenko secured the victory.

Today, August 10, a new J100 tournament week kicks off in Fergana.
