Responsibility for managing the Republican Olympic Reserve Tennis School has been transferred to the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation.

Decree No. PP-347 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 21, 2026, “On Measures to Promote and Develop the Sport of Tennis,” sets out new objectives for the further development of tennis in the country.

In accordance with the decree, the Ministry of Sports’ authority to manage the Republican Tennis School for Olympic Reserves has been transferred to the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation, while maintaining the current funding arrangements.

The Federation has also been granted the authority to establish performance indicators for the school, appoint senior management, and approve its financial and strategic development programs.

As part of the school’s further development, plans include bringing in foreign specialists and coaches, implementing modern training methods, strengthening its material and technical infrastructure, and hosting ITF international competitions at the school starting in 2027.

The implementation of these measures is aimed at further improving the system for identifying and training young talent, as well as strengthening the position of Uzbek tennis on the international stage.
