Yelxin Aleksey Georgiyevich

Honored coach of Uzbekistan with over 50 years of experience.

Coach of the UzSJ national team since 1975. During his career, he has trained many tennis players who have become champions of the republic, masters of sports and winners of international tournaments: Vadim Kutsenko, Oleg Ogorodov, Dmitry Tomashevich, Tatyana Fyodorova.

Many famous tennis players can call Alexey Georgievich their first coach. He always works with young and purposeful athletes, who become mentors both in sports and in life. In 2018, Alexey Georgievich took second place at the World Cup (Asia/Oceania) with the U-16 national team.

Since 1998, Elkhin has led the Uzbekistan national team in the Davis Cup, and in 2004 he passed the baton to his former student Pyotr Lebed.
