Abdurakhmon Karimov reached the final of the ITF J30 Manama tournament

Uzbek tennis player Abdurakhmon Karimov performed successfully at the ITF J30 Manama international junior tournament, which is being held in Bahrain. Our athlete reached the singles final and showed consistent play throughout the competition.

In the semifinals, Karimov secured a confident victory over Ahmed Ibrahim of Egypt, 6-1, 4-6, 6-1, demonstrating his character in the decisive set.

In the final match, Abdurakhmon faced Malek El-Kourneh from Jordan, who was the main discovery of the tournament. In a tough battle, our athlete lost to his opponent 1-6, 1-6, finishing the tournament in second place.

Reaching the final of the J30 Manama is an important result for the young tennis player and further confirmation of the high level of training of Uzbekistan’s juniors.
