Master class in Urgench.
A master class was held in Urgench, Khorezm region.
Along with the development of professional sports, it is our task to develop children’s tennis. Thanks to the specially developed STI-JTI program presented at the master class.
What is the STI-JTI program:
Starting this year, the Federation is introducing the international program “Youth Tennis Initiative”, which will allow all children to engage in this sport for free.
The Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan has approved a program for the development of tennis in the republic, in which special attention is paid to the development of children’s tennis. All conditions are being created for future masters of the big racket.
The dream of thousands of children to become world tennis stars can come true.
The “Youth Tennis Initiative” program makes the elite game accessible to boys and girls, allowing them to realize their dreams.
Children are attracted to the world of big tennis through mini-tennis. The “UTI” program was developed taking into account the experience of foreign countries where such programs have been adopted. This document was approved by the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
The Tennis Federation provides free equipment for tennis lessons in interested institutions, as well as organizes special seminars and trainings for coaches and teachers. The program will allow many children to enjoy mini-tennis games, which will facilitate the transition from mini-tennis to senior tennis. This program will expand the base of tennis in our country. Mass interest in this sport will give a new impetus to the development of tennis in Uzbekistan.
