Alexandra Barmicheva reached the semifinals of the tournament in Great Britain

Young Uzbek tennis player Alexandra Barmicheva continues her confident performance at the ITF J100 Loughborough international tournament in the UK. Our athlete reached the semifinals of the singles competition after a brilliant and convincing performance in the previous stages.

In the quarterfinals, Barmicheva, seeded third, secured a confident victory over British tennis player Sofia Christodoulou (Great Britain, seeded eighth) with a score of 6-3, 6-4, demonstrating consistency, drive, and strong tactical play.

In the semifinals, Alexandra will face Britain’s Edie Griffiths, the fifth seed in the tournament.

Reaching the semifinals of the J100 is an important result for Barmicheva and an indication of her rapid progress on the international stage.
