Humayun Sultanov wins the first match of the Davis Cup playoffs in Nigeria

The Uzbekistan men’s tennis team is currently competing in the Davis Cup in Lagos, Nigeria.

On the first day of play in the Davis Cup World Group II playoffs, Khumoyun Sultanov scored a resounding victory over his opponent Kanis Abua with a score of 6-3, 6-4.

The Davis Cup is the largest international team competition in men’s tennis. It has been held annually since 1900, and since 1979 under the auspices of the International Tennis Federation.
