Kamilla Rakhimova reaches the final of the WTA 125 tournament in France

Uzbek tennis player Kamila Rakhimova continues to impress at the WTA 125 Open Angers Arena Loire tournament, which is taking place in Angers, France. She won a hard-fought victory over the tournament’s second seed, Ana Ruzic from Croatia, and reached the final of a WTA 125 competition for the first time this season.

In a tense semifinal match, Rakhimova showed character and the highest level of play. After losing the first set, she seized the initiative and won the match 4-6, 6-3, 7-5.

In the final, Kamila will face Germany’s Tatjana Korpach, who earlier defeated her compatriot Anna Friedsam.

Reaching the final of the French tournament was an important step for Rakhimova, strengthening her position in the rankings and confirming her successful start under the Uzbekistan flag.
