Mumtozabegim Akramova reached the quarterfinals in singles and the doubles final at the tournament in Qatar.
Young tennis player Mumtozabegim Akramova from Uzbekistan is performing successfully at the 4th Qatar Asian Junior 14 & Under tournament, which is being held in Doha from November 29 to December 6, 2025, under the auspices of the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF).
Singles — quarterfinals
Mumtozabegim got off to a confident start at the tournament, showing a high level of play.
In one of the matches, she defeated Iris Ben of the Netherlands 6-1, 6-0, which allowed her to advance to the quarterfinals of the competition.
In the quarterfinals, Akramova will face her rivals for a place in the semifinals.
Doubles – reaching the final
Paired with Qatari tennis player Dorsaf Al-Thani, Mumtozabegim Akramova demonstrated flawless play.
In the semifinals, the Uzbek-Qatari duo confidently defeated their opponents 6-0, 6-0 and advanced to the final of the tournament.
Their opponents in the decisive match will be Sofia Himmelreich (Russia) and Sevinc Ishankulova (Turkmenistan).

Akramova’s participation in the doubles final and her successful progress in the singles confirm the high level of training of young tennis players in Uzbekistan and the effectiveness of the systematic work of the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation.
