Saidaslam Farkhodov became the doubles champion and singles finalist at the junior tournament in Armenia.
The Karen Kuregyan Memorial Cup (category 3) international junior tournament, organized by the Armenian Tennis Federation, has come to an end in the Armenian city of Tsaghkadzor.
Saidaslam Farkhodov from Uzbekistan demonstrated a high level of play, winning the doubles title and second place in the singles competition.
Doubles
Farkhodov, paired with Nurislam Musa from Kazakhstan, confidently defeated the pair of Arsey Barkou from Belarus and Platon Gripich from Russia in the final with a score of 6:2, 6:3.
Singles
In the singles final, Saidislam faced Arsey Barkou of Belarus and, after a fierce battle, lost 3:6, 5:7, becoming the runner-up of the tournament.
These results are further proof of the growing level of Uzbek juniors and the successful work of the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation in developing young athletes.
