Saidislam Farkhodov reached the final of the Tennis Europe international tournament in Baku.

From September 29 to October 5, the Baku Tennis Academy in Baku, Azerbaijan, hosted the Tennis Europe Junior Tour Remembrance Day Category 3 international tournament, which brought together the region’s strongest juniors under the age of 14.
Saidislam Farkhodov from Uzbekistan confidently made his way through the tournament and reached the final of the BS14 singles. On his way to the decisive match, he defeated Alexander Zyabko 3-6, 6-4, 7-5, David Tevazadze 6-0, 6-1, and Giorgi Kintsurashvili 6-0, 6-2.
In the final, the Uzbek tennis player faced Georgia’s Yuri Tiktopulo, losing in two sets 3-6, 3-6.
For Farkhodov, this result was one of his best on the international stage: reaching the final of a Category 3 tournament will earn him valuable Tennis Europe ranking points and strengthen his position in the European junior rankings.
The Tennis Europe Junior Tour series tournaments are an important part of the system for developing young players in Europe, providing young athletes with the opportunity to compete at the international level and gain playing experience.
