Saidislam Farkhodov wins doubles title at Tennis Europe Autumn Cup in Baku

From October 6 to 12, 2025, the Baku Tennis Academy (Azerbaijan) hosted the Tennis Europe Junior Tour Autumn Cup, a Category 3 international tournament. The competition was attended by 163 young tennis players from various countries in Europe and Asia.

In the boys’ doubles category for players under 14 (BD14), the pair of Saidislam Farkhodov (Uzbekistan) and Daniil Skorobogatyi (Russia) won the tournament.

On their way to the title, the duo showed confident and consistent play:
• In the quarterfinals, they defeated Lev Becker and Kirill Mistyukov 6-3, 6-1.
• In the semifinals, they defeated Nikita Ermolov and Mael Makhmutov 6-2, 6-2.
• In the final, they prevailed over Marat Deshin and Alexander Zyabko in a dramatic three-set match — 4:6, 6:2, [10–5].

This victory was an important international victory for Farkhodov in doubles at Tennis Europe tournaments, just a week after reaching the singles final at the Remembrance Day tournament in Baku.

Tennis Europe Junior Tour Category 3 tournaments allow young tennis players to accumulate ranking points and valuable playing experience, as well as open the way to more prestigious continental-level competitions.
