Sergey Fomin reached the semifinals of the ITF M25 tournament in China

The ITF M25 tennis tournament is being held in the Chinese city of Qiandaohu, where Uzbekistan’s second-ranked player Sergey Fomin is performing successfully.

Fomin won his quarterfinal match, defeating the tournament’s eighth seed, Malaysia’s Mitsuki Wei Kang Leong. After losing the first set 0-6, Sergey managed to get back into the game and win 6-2, 7-6(3).

Tomorrow, the Uzbek tennis player will face the tournament’s top seed, China’s San Fai Jing, ranked 251st in the world, in the semifinals.

The match between Fomin and San for a place in the final will take place tomorrow at 07:00 Tashkent time.
