Tashkent to host ATF Performance Tennis international seminar on working with young players

The Uzbekistan Tennis Federation, in collaboration with the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) and the Republican Tennis School of the Olympic Reserve, will hold a three-day ATF Performance Tennis seminar in Tashkent as part of the Young Tennis Stars (YTS) program for the development of children’s tennis on November 28-30, 2025.

The event is aimed at improving the skills of coaches, coordinators, and teachers working with children aged 7–10. Participants will learn about modern international teaching methods and take part in practical sessions on the court.

Venue: Umid Sports Complex, branch of the Republican Tennis School of the Olympic Reserve (Mirzo-Ulugbek district, 82A Yalangach).

The seminar program includes theoretical and practical modules on the Evolution methodology and ITF principles aimed at developing children’s tennis in Asian countries. The main focus will be on coaches working with children under 10 years old who participate in red, orange, and green level competitions.

A special event will be the participation in the seminar of Mike Barrell, a leading international expert, founder of the Evolve9 program, and executive director of the John McEnroe Academy, which brings together more than 300 courts and 235 coaches.

Participants will receive certificates of completion issued by the Asian Tennis Federation and the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation, confirming their professional development.

Participation in the seminar is free of charge. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
