The ITF W15 Tashkent international women’s tournament kicks off in Tashkent

From October 20 to November 2, the capital of Uzbekistan will host two consecutive international tennis tournaments of the ITF World Tennis Tour W15 Tashkent series, which will be held on the courts of the Olympic Village.

The first tournament will take place from October 20 to 26, and the second from October 27 to November 2. The prize fund for each competition will be $15,000.

Tennis players from 17 countries will come to Tashkent, including Uzbekistan, India, Russia, Belarus, Thailand, Lithuania, China, Germany, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Latvia, and the Netherlands. The participants will compete for ranking points and the opportunity to climb the ITF professional rankings.

The ITF W15 Tashkent tournament is traditionally a platform for discovering new talent and preparing athletes for higher-level tournaments. The competition is supported by the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation and the International Tennis Federation (ITF).

Spectators can look forward to two weeks of exciting matches, strong opponents, and truly beautiful tennis in the heart of Tashkent.
