The Uzbekistan girls’ national team competed in the ITF World Junior Tennis Competition (WJTC) Asia/Oceania Final Qualifying Tournament

The Uzbekistan girls’ national team competed in the ITF World Junior Tennis Competition (WJTC) Asia/Oceania Final Qualifying tournament, held in Kuching, Malaysia.

During the tournament, our players faced off against the region’s strongest teams. In the group stage, the team lost to the national teams of Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong.

In subsequent matches, the Uzbek players defeated the national teams of Chinese Taipei, Vietnam, and Indonesia, which allowed them to finish in 9th place.

It is worth noting that last year the team finished the tournament in 15th place, which indicates significant progress.
