The Uzbekistan girls’ team under 14 won the tournament in Vietnam

The Uzbekistan girls’ team under 14 successfully competed in the ITF World Junior Tennis Competition U14 – Asia/Oceania qualifying stage, which took place in Vietnam, and won the competition.

Throughout the tournament, the young tennis players demonstrated confident play and made it to the final. In the decisive match, the Uzbekistan team faced the tournament hosts, the Vietnam team.

In the final match, our athletes showed a high level of play and won 2:0, claiming the tournament title. The doubles match, provided for in the regulations, was not held by mutual agreement of the parties.

This result once again confirms the high potential of young tennis players from Uzbekistan. We congratulate the athletes on their well-deserved victory and wish them further success on the international stage.
