Three Uzbekistanis have been appointed to the ITF committee and commissions for 2026-2027

The ITF has announced the composition of its committees and commissions for 2026-2027, which includes three representatives from Uzbekistan.

The ITF President’s Working Group for the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup includes the deputy chair of the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation, legendary Uzbek tennis player Iroda Tulyaganova, as well as the coach of the Uzbekistan women’s tennis team, captain of the Uzbekistan team at the Billie Jean King Cup, and Uzbek professional tennis player Akgul Amanmuradova.

The head coach of the Uzbekistan men’s national tennis team and captain of the Davis Cup team, legendary Uzbek tennis player Denis Istomin, has joined the Coaches Commission.

More than 230 representatives from 70 countries have been appointed to serve on a number of ITF committees, commissions, and working groups that assist the ITF and its Board of Directors in key areas of the sport.

The responsibilities of each committee and commission are derived from the ITF Constitution, and members carry out their duties in accordance with the ITF’s core principles of governance, sport, and participation in line with the ITF’s values: effective governance, integrity, inclusivity, innovation, and collaboration.
