Under 14 qualifying tournaments: formation of the Uzbekistan national team
The Uzbekistan Tennis Federation will hold qualifying tournaments for girls and boys under 14 years of age with the aim of forming a list of candidates for the country’s junior national team and preparing for international competitions under the auspices of the ITF and ATF.
The tournament for boys under 14 will be held from January 9 to 15, 2026, and the tournament for girls under 14 will be held from January 25 to 31, 2026.
Both tournaments will be held at the Republican Tennis School of the Olympic Reserve.
The main objective of the competitions is to improve the sporting skills of young tennis players, prepare a sporting reserve, and objectively select the strongest players. Based on the results of the tournaments, the FTU coaching council will form:
the Uzbekistan national team to participate in the Pre-Qualifying Event “World Junior Tennis Competition” team tournament;
a list of players to participate in the ITF Asia 14&U Development Championships Final individual tournament.
The tournaments will be held on indoor hard courts, with Technifibre Club balls being used. The competition format is a round-robin system: 8 players in the main tournament, divided into two subgroups of 4 players each. The best athletes will continue to compete in the semifinals and finals, while the rest will play matches for the final places.
Applications for participation are accepted through the UZ PIN system on the official FTU portal. To submit an application through UZ PIN and activate your player profile, please contact Malika Orazaliyeva at +998 97 403 38 83:

The Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan is responsible for organizing the competitions, refereeing, and medical support. Holding tournaments is an important part of the FTU’s systematic work to develop junior tennis and train players of international level.
