Uzbek tennis player joins ATF and ITF teams to participate in a series of tournaments in India
The GSPDP/ITF/ATF team traveled to India to participate in three consecutive ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors tournaments.
The team consisted of four boys: Mahmudbek Beknazarov (Uzbekistan), Dongje Kim and Junsho Jang (Korea), Rafalentino Alida Costa (Indonesia), as well as two girls, Ye-ri Hong (Korea) and Yen Ni Chiang (Chinese Taipei). The team was accompanied by coaches Shivika Burman and Pahiratang. Despite his young age of 15, Mahmudbek Beknazarov became the first Uzbek tennis player to make it into such a strong team.
The tour started with the J300 New Delhi tournament and continued with the J200 Gurugram tournament, after which it ended with the J200 Kolkata tournament.
After playing many tough matches and gaining valuable playing experience, the GSPDP team finished the Indian tour with mixed results.
