Uzbekistan U12 Team to Compete in the Asian Team Championship Finals in Singapore

From August 25 to 30, Singapore will host the ATF 12 & Under Team Competition 2025 Finals, organized by the Asian Tennis Federation and the Singapore Tennis Association. The tournament will feature the 12 best boys’ and girls’ teams that advanced through regional qualifiers. Uzbekistan will represent Central Asia alongside Kazakhstan.
Three Uzbek players — Azamjon Ziyatov (Namangan), Milan Zinatullin (Tashkent), and Alimkhan Umedov (Samarkand) — will compete as part of the national team. The athletes are now preparing for the championship.
This tournament is considered one of the key events on the Asian tennis calendar, as it paves the way for young athletes to enter the international stage. Teams will fight for spots at the ATF 12&U Intercontinental Team Competition, which will take place in Shymkent in September and bring together the strongest teams from Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, and other regions.
“It is important for us that Uzbek athletes are participating in the finals of the largest Asian tournament for players under 12. This is an opportunity to earn ranking points, gain international experience, and lay the foundation for future victories. We are confident that competing in Singapore will be a crucial step in the development of a new generation of Uzbek tennis players,”
said Sardor Kamilov, Secretary General of the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation.
The Uzbekistan Tennis Federation continues to create opportunities for young players’ growth so they can proudly represent the country at international tournaments in the future.
