ITF J30 Namangan Tournament Held in Namangan: Young Stars from 12 Countries Competed for the Titles

From July 21 to 27, 2025, the international junior tournament J30 Namangan, part of the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors series, was successfully held in Namangan. Organized by the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation, the event was a significant milestone in the development of tennis in the region.
The tournament brought together over 100 boys and girls from 12 countries, including Uzbekistan, Russia, France, Germany, India, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Israel, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the USA, and Spain.
More than 120 matches were played on the courts of Namangan in singles and doubles among players under the age of 18. The strongest young tennis players demonstrated excellent preparation and a true fighting spirit.

Boys – Singles:
Makhmudbek Beknazarov (Uzbekistan) defeated Viggo Wagenknecht (Germany) — 6-3, 6-4
Girls – Singles:
Tatyana Golovina (Russia) defeated Yuliya Myakotkina (Russia) — 6-2, 7-5
Boys – Doubles:
Makhmudbek Beknazarov / Abdurakhmon Karimov (Uzbekistan) defeated Timur Dautov / Amir Safaev (Uzbekistan) — 6-2, 6-3
Girls – Doubles:
Shahzoda Artikboeva (Uzbekistan) / Linara Bulesheva (Kazakhstan) defeated Alexandra Kachushkina / Kira Ertman (Kazakhstan) — 6-3, 6-2
“The J30 tournament in Namangan was not just a competition, but a clear example of how Uzbekistan is strengthening its position in the international tennis system. The J30 Namangan tournament is part of the ITF’s global junior circuit, which provides players under 18 the opportunity to earn ranking points and gain international experience. Participation in such events is the first step toward Grand Slam tournaments and professional tennis.
Hosting the tournament in Namangan highlights Uzbekistan’s growing importance as a venue for international tennis events. The tournament was held with the support of the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation, which actively develops infrastructure and fosters the growth of young talent.
