Polina Kudermetova reached the final of the tournament in Canberra

Uzbek tennis player Polina Kudermetova is performing successfully at the Workday Canberra International tournament (Australia) and has reached the final of the competition, demonstrating stable and confident play at all stages of the tournament.

On her way to the decisive match, Kudermetova won a series of crucial victories. In the round of 16, she defeated Serbia’s Lola Radivojevic 6-3, 7-6 (1). In the quarterfinals, Polina confidently defeated Chinese tennis player Yue Yuan with a score of 6-1, 6-0. In the semifinals, in a tense battle, Kudermetova prevailed over Japan’s Haruka Sakatsume, winning the match in two sets, 7-5, 6-2.

In the final match of the tournament, the Uzbek tennis player was one step away from victory but lost to Joanna Garland (Chinese Taipei) with a score of 6-4, 6-2.
